Subject: Day Octopus
Comment: Seeing the rather large (2 ft) Day Octopus sitting on top of a coral head in broad daylight was a strange sight. The octopus quickly scurried away when I wanted to take a picture but still wanted to peek out at me. Long Lava Tube was a great dive site with lava tube swim throughs, lots of coral, 3 Day Octopi, Spanish Dancers, and lots of other interesting things that I did not see at any other site.
