Welcome to our website! We're finally getting around to updating this intro information after several years. Here's a recap--
Eric and I (Laura) are both 32 years old, we've been together for 12 years (married for 7) and currently live in Northern New Jersey (about 25 miles from Manhattan). We come to this area after 2 years in Durham, North Carolina, a few years Baton Rouge, LA and few years, in Asheville, NC. We're expecting our first child (a girl) in a few weeks--who knows how long it will take to update the site with details and pics of her arrival!
Anyway, this site mostly reflects the trips Eric and I have taken together over the years. Eric has done all the photo taking, narrative and caption writing, and HTML coding. These pages serve as a sort of portable photo album for us, but we also hope that any travellers out there doing research for their own trips might be able to glean some useful information from our experiences. If you do have questions for us please send them to the email link at the bottom of this page. This site includes info on all our trips after we bought a digital camera, but does leave out some trips taken before that, including trips to Botswana, Zimbabwe , and most of Western Europe, so questions on those locales are fair game as well.
